Biography

Having been discovered (simultaneously with A-Musik) from a demo mailed to us, DAT Politics are a 4--piece unit (now reduced to 3 members) based in the northern French city of Lille. Having been formed in October 1998, this split 12" marked one of their first releases as DAT Politics, although three of the group's members had been operating for several years under the name Tone Rec, with three albums released on the Sub Rosa label.

DAT Politics have since gone on to release on labels such as Tigerbeat6, Chicks On Speed, and via their own excellent Ski-pp label.
